Order Acknowledgement
Your order will be acknowledged on our website on the understanding that delivery is subject to availability. Occasionally we may be unable to deliver if stock runs out or is withdrawn or circumstances arise beyond our control such as acts of god, civil commotion, riots, flood, drought, fire, or legislation. If such a problem arises, we will advise you as soon as we can and you will be issued with an immediate refund of any payment made. This will discharge any liability for failure to deliver the goods in question.

Order Acceptance
Order Acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch of the Products ordered to you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions below Cancellations. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following: The product you ordered being unavailable from stock Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment The identification of a pricing or product description error.

Payment may be made by any of the methods indicated on our website and will be debited when we process your order. For full details of our Payment Methods, please see the section "Payment Methods" under Information You will be charged the current price for buying goods from our website at the date you place your order and this price is inclusive of VAT. We reserve the right to amend prices if there is a change in the rate of VAT. It may be necessary to change prices either up or down, from time to time. Any price changes will be confirmed to you at the time of ordering.

All orders will be dispatched within 7 days by Royal Mail or courier. Please be aware that The Hobby House is closed on a Saturday, Sunday and Monday, so any orders placed on that day will not be processed until Tuesday. For UK orders over £75, carriage will be free, for orders up to £74.99 the postage and packing cost is £3.99. We will post orders using either 1st or 2nd Class Post via Royal Mail.
For European and Worldwide Orders different rates for shipping will be applied on the checkout page

If the items you have ordered are in stock we will endeavor to dispatch these as promptly as possible. We will let you know as soon as we can if there is likely to be a delay.

Any measurements or sizes stated are approximate. The reproduction of colours is as accurate as the photographic and production process will allow. All matters concerning and incidental to any offer or agreement for the purchase and sale of goods from our website shall be construed and governed according to English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction in all such matters. If goods supplied are found to be faulty a refund will be made provided that they are returned within reasonable time, in line with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (amended).

Replacements will only be dispatched upon receipt of the faulty item. In the first instance, please contact us on 01472 815 191 or by email to arrange for an immediate return.

As per the Distance Selling Regulations (2000), after purchasing products, you have a cooling off period, so that if, for any reason, you are unhappy or simply don't want the products you have ordered, they can be returned and refunded. You must let us know within 7 working days of receiving them and we will arrange for a full refund to be made after you return the goods to us in their original condition. This 7 day period starts the day after you receive the goods. The refund will be made within 30 days of cancellation. In the first instance, call us on 01472 815 191 and let us know your intention and/or write to us at the address above or email to enquiries@thehobbyhouse.co.uk If you wish to cancel before the items are despatched you are asked to contact us, by e-mail or phone as soon as is practicably possible. If your cancellation is received after the items have been despatched just send it back to us unopened for a refund of full purchase price.
